Composite Inspector Nightshift
Our client is a household name in the composite industry in the UK and overseas. As part of continued growth, they are recruiting a Composite Inspector for their nightshift on a permanent basis.
Based within the Inspection team and reporting to the Inspection Team Leader and Quality Manager, you will ensure that all parts are inspected for quality in a timely manner in order to meet customer demand and to maintain quality throughout the production process
Your role will include the following tasks but not be limited to:
- To carry out inspections of all composite components and machined parts.
- Proactively engaging with all aspects of the manufacturing process in order to ensure that quality standards and customer requirements are met at all times.
- Flag up all technical issues internally or externally to ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner
- Work closely with the QM for continued maintenance and internal integration of the Quality Management System ensuring ongoing compliance to ISO 9001
- To assist with other duties such as dispatch, etc.
Our client requires the following experience to consider applications:
- Relevant Engineering Qualification
- Crucial to this role is a very good understanding of all composites manufacturing procedures and processes
- Previous experience within the Composite and or machining industry
- Experience and understanding of hand-based inspection techniques
- NDT Ultrasonic
- CMM programming and operational experience
- Use of and experience of programming in PC-DMIS
- Polyworks/CAM Measure 10 experience desirable.
- Use of FARO arms or equivalent desirable
If your experience is not quite matching the above, our client is prepared to hire the right person on a dayshift basis, be given full training until competent enough to be left to work on Nights alone
