INSPECTION OPERATOR – LATE SHIFT

Pegbox is recruiting a late shift Inspection Operator for a 6-month contract on behalf of Global Technologies Racing.

This is a great opportunity to join of the leading composite manufacturers and work on a wide range of projects cutting across many high-end sectors.

The role will involve using hand tools, CMM, FARO ARM, etc. to inspect a variety of carbon fibre, composite, and other types of parts for F1, Motorsport, Hypercars and other fantastic projects.  These can range from prototypes, first offs, and full assemblies.

Reporting to the team leader, the successful candidate will be required to have a good understanding of manufacturing techniques, compose inspection reports and work closely with machine shops and production staff to improve first off articles. They will also be required to produce OFI’s internally and dealing with customer portals for concession requests and inspection reporting.

Although not essential, the following would be very welcome:

• NDT Ultrasonic experience highly desirable.
• CMM programming and operational experience highly desirable.
• Use of and experience of programming in PC-DMIS highly desirable.
• Polyworks experience desirable.
• Use of Creaform scanning hardware or equivalent desirable.
